Olivier Dubs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Fritz Berghmans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro Madrigal having to make a save. Isidro Madrigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fritz Berghmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10th play minutes Fritz Berghmans shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Isidro Madrigal and just under the crossbar into goal. 16 minutes into the match, BEST FABIO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Navarro came free, but Olivier Dubs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Juninho de Sena got a free kick in the 19th minute. Olivier Dubs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Sancho in the 20th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Contreras during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to OROTINENSE getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Diego Contreras hit a great ball. If Fritz Berghmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute Fritz Berghmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Madrigal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fritz Berghmans struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Isidro Madrigal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BEST FABIO F.C.. Isidro Madrigal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fritz Berghmans's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The supporters of BEST FABIO F.C. booed when OROTINENSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Greivin Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Sergi in the 38th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Isidro Madrigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fritz Berghmans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in OROTINENSE's zone, Fritz Berghmans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Madrigal came out of the goal and Fritz Berghmans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fritz Berghmans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro Madrigal having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Isidro Madrigal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fritz Berghmans. In the 71st match minute, OROTINENSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greivin Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. BEST FABIO F.C. made a substitution. Rodrigo Garro replaced Jiang Liang Wei. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Igor Gulak was substituted for Alexandre Xande. OROTINENSE's Isidro Madrigal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save OROTINENSE from getting a goal against them. Fritz Berghmans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro Madrigal having to make a save. After 96 minutes, Anaking Skywalker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BEST FABIO F.C. and the OROTINENSE players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the final whistle sounded BEST FABIO F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than OROTINENSE.
