After a rather tough play, Atlético-PR's Dráuzio Barral got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 15th minute of the match. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Oswaldo Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Atlético-PR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peng Chao Feng to maneuver through the defense. Balazs Lajos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Oswaldo Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Pedrinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Hoffmann hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Pedrinho Hoffmann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Fodor Daniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dráuzio Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. The supporters of Hungary booed when Atlético-PR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedrinho Hoffmann to strike the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 56th minute Pedrinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Perivaldo Sampaio took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Atlético-PR's Yang Ke Xun was substituted for Márcio Cruz. In the 85th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oswaldo Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Hong Jian Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95thth minute of the game Hong Jian Fan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Atlético-PR players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
