A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the game, Juventudes Libertárias's Edson Braddock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Edson Braddock tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edson Braddock in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Edson Braddock put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Alisson Becker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. In the 37th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Almeida in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Juventudes Libertárias booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Almeida in the 41st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edson Braddock to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Edson Braddock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 57 minutes, Lúcio da Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventudes Libertárias and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilson Meirelles in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Almeida came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Agostinho Almeida advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 79th minute. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juventudes Libertárias walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
