Siricio Liotta made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gianpaolo Mascari however managed to control. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 30th minute of play forced Variante Delta's goalkeeper Thibaut Vandamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Variante Delta's Cordeara Sanjuan was substituted for Cuartio Sesmilo. Siricio Liotta struck a weak shot in the 90th minute.
