An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 4th minute of play forced KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl's goalkeeper Waldemar Gizynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Gizynski. The KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Gizynski should have stopped the shot. Sylwester Niemojewski hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Gizynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Antal Valentin in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Major Barna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Waldemar Gizynski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl's Bernard Sienkiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 93 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
