The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 55th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Heinz-Gerd Bonin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Heinz-Gerd Bonin. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz throughout the match.
