Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Cosa nostra Lyon's Uwe Birmes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Germany's Linus Schwerner got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Cupial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Cupial having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Malte Schiele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cosa nostra Lyon the free kick. After a rather tough play, Germany's Malte Schiele got a free kick in the 17th minute. Tommy Kahn was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Faudel Dagorne. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kryspin Cupial was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 25 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Sven Krakouer. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Uwe Birmes had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 28 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. 30 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's Junior Quintana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Quintana came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Junior Quintana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosa nostra Lyon's Félicien Boidin. But to his dismay, Félicien Boidin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Junior Quintana showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. In the 46th minute Junior Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Junior Quintana tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Kryspin Cupial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 54th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Quintana came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosa nostra Lyon's 高川永. But to his dismay, 高川永 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The Cosa nostra Lyon fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Cosa nostra Lyon's Félicien Boidin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cosa nostra Lyon made a substitution. Best Jesus replaced Joe Plantin. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Félicien Boidin in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cosa nostra Lyon's goalkeeper Kryspin Cupial, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Zé Moreno in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Albin Holweck. Cosa nostra Lyon's Kryspin Cupial proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Cosa nostra Lyon from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Quintana in the 86th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Şuplăcan in the 92nd minute of the match. Best Jesus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save.
