Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davi Valadares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Chris Nygaard put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Davi Valadares. When Tobias Zachrisson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Inter de Melão's protests and gave Tobias Zachrisson a yellow card for diving instead. Davi Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Melão's Davi Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Palacios hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Valadares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 24th minute of play forced Inter de Melão's goalkeeper Davi Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chris Nygaard scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davi Valadares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davi Valadares saved Inter de Melão from getting behind. Fabinho Valladares scored 2-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 39 minutes, Vicente Barreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter de Melão and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th match minute, Inter de Melão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Inter de Melão's Davi Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 40th minute of play. When Lars Steen came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Steen couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. Inter de Melão's Davi Valadares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Melão from getting a goal against them. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Falcão Dias in the 53rd minute of play. Vicente Barreto got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 54 minutes into the game, one of Inter de Melão:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Inter de Melão's Tobias Zachrisson got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd match minute, Inter de Melão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Davi Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 71st minute. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Davi Valadares made a huge save. Inter de Melão's Fabinho Valladares got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Davi Valadares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Davi Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davi Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Theis Winther. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter de Melão's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Davi Valadares was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Davi Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the match was over Denmark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Inter de Melão throughout the match.
