The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Ponc Calderona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes in the game, Ponc Calderona fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maxime Durand having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KS Ruch Chorzów's Sancarbey Doğay got a free kick in the 8th minute. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Donny Verweijen tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was a penalty for France! Maxime Durand went to the wrong direction when Ponc Calderona was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ponc Calderona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ponc Calderona in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Ponc Calderona came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erez Manco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Peletier in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Ponc Calderona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute Ponc Calderona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Ponc Calderona sped through France's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KS Ruch Chorzów had won after a very even match.
