Chris Nygaard started the match with the kick off. A collision led to GAÚCHO FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Crişan Fenomeno hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Valério Netto made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Fábio Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Lorden in the 11th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes of play, GAÚCHO FC's Carroll Mansfield made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the game, Crişan Fenomeno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilhelm Lorden got free with Keld Paulsen in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Crişan Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Marques in the 21st minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vilhelm Lorden to strike the kick off in the second half. If Crişan Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Vilhelm Lorden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Crişan Fenomeno in the 57th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Carroll Mansfield fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GAÚCHO FC's protests and gave Carroll Mansfield a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertram Svenningsen got free with Raí Seco in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denmark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valério Netto was slow to take the kick. During this time GAÚCHO FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Valério Netto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valério Netto in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, GAÚCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Raí Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Crişan Fenomeno came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crişan Fenomeno took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. After 82 minutes, Simon Bendtsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the GAÚCHO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Crişan Fenomeno went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Vilhelm Lorden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Crişan Fenomeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crişan Fenomeno in the 90th minute of play. GAÚCHO FC's Crişan Fenomeno got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GAÚCHO FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Denmark had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
