After 40 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roch Psotka was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roch Psotka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Roch Psotka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The RW AHLEN-KNURÓW players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Germany were winning 0-2.

When the final whistle sounded Germany left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than RW AHLEN-KNURÓW.
