Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. A very nice done corner allowed Edmond Saury to score against Tommy Kahn in Germany's goal. 2-0 after 13 minutes. After having played for 17 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Hamard in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 23rdth minute of the game Nicolas Hamard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Emmanuel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Emmanuel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 25th minute. Redouane Goude charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Redouane Goude the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Germany booed when Cats and dogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Redouane Goude didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joe Camp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Nicolas Hamard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Felix Emmanuel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cats and dogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 46th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Cats and dogs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Linus Schwerner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cats and dogs's Joe Camp did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Felix Emmanuel made the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Emmanuel in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Felix Emmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaétan Bouchard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Cats and dogs's Nicolas Hamard. But to his dismay, Nicolas Hamard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Nicolas Hamard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Gaétan Bouchard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaétan Bouchard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
