After a rather tough play, Portugal's Viriato Moura got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Nimród Tálas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Máté Kőváry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Daniel Pimentel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nimród Tálas struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vérsárkány SE. Máté Kőváry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vérsárkány SE's Nimród Tálas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Vérsárkány SE's Ateş Yavuzer got a free kick in the 27th minute. Faustino Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aybars Cihannur having to make a save. Vérsárkány SE's Aybars Cihannur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 33rd minute of play. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 34th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Graciano Coutinho heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Aybars Cihannur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vérsárkány SE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Portugal's Felipe Barreto to fire away a dangerous shot which Aybars Cihannur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aybars Cihannur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aybars Cihannur. Vérsárkány SE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viriato Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Máté Kőváry made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viriato Moura got free with Aybars Cihannur in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the game, Tivadar Kereki threw the ball into play from the sideline. Portugal's Graciano Coutinho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 63 minutes into the game, Vérsárkány SE's Máté Kőváry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. In the 66th minute, Tivadar Kereki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nimród Tálas's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Nimród Tálas notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes into the game, Ateş Yavuzer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vérsárkány SE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugal the free kick. Ateş Yavuzer hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Máté Kőváry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Máté Kőváry in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máté Kőváry in the 83rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Máté Kőváry in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Graciano Coutinho. If Nimród Tálas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
