The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erasmo Pereira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C. Carmo De Kiev protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erasmo Pereira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Laerte de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmo De Kiev's Laerte de Barros got control of the ball when Micah Macdonald tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute England were awarded a corner. Micah Macdonald went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led England's Issac Dawson to fire away a dangerous shot which Laerte de Barros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as England's Xavier Gallagher slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Laerte de Barros. That made the score 1-3 after 88 minutes of play. Jean Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Khalid Kennedy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. England played a much better game than F.C. Carmo De Kiev and deserved their victory. The F.C. Carmo De Kiev players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
