Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zaccheo Andolina scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfons Sjö, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfons Sjö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Porziano Marchitelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfons Sjö was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Alfons Sjö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Italy's Zaccheo Andolina in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garsås IF's goalie prevented a goal. Alfons Sjö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porziano Marchitelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy's Eliseo Cutri managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jan-Åke Jonasson in the 23 minute of the game. After 23 minutes, Enrico Cesaroni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garsås IF and the Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfons Sjö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porziano Marchitelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 32nd minute of play. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Sigfrido Auletta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfons Sjö quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfons Sjö breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Lund got free with Flavio Vittori in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Italy were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Ove Stål to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Alfons Sjö was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfons Sjö made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 64th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Sjö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven-Ove Stål struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garsås IF. Italy's attentive Eliseo Cutri managed to snatch the ball when Jan-Åke Jonasson made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Siricio Liotta made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Garsås IF's Oskar Påk. In the 75th match minute, Garsås IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Sjö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Jan-Åke Jonasson made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Porziano Marchitelli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Porziano Marchitelli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfons Sjö breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfons Sjö read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Italy's attentive Eliseo Cutri managed to snatch the ball when Jan-Åke Jonasson made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the game, Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Vittori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Italy played a much better game than Garsås IF and deserved their victory. The Garsås IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
