Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ola Lund made the kick off and thus started the match. The throw-in from Faustino Almeida in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Garsås IF's Jan-Åke Jonasson. 4 minutes into the game, Ola Lund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim. Ola Lund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Ola Lund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charlie Löfgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Portugal's Graciano Coutinho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Göran Lindholm, made in the 18th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö. Alfons Sjö was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfons Sjö saved Garsås IF from getting behind. In the 28th minute, one of Garsås IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Garsås IF. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Sven-Ove Stål cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ola Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Garsås IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Åke Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven-Ove Stål showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 43 minute of play. The throw-in from Fabricio Andrade in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Garsås IF's Jan-Åke Jonasson. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Fabricio Andrade's late challenge caught a Garsås IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fabricio Andrade hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 57th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Ove Stål went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 61 minutes, Sven-Ove Stål managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garsås IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Ove Stål was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Rodolfo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charlie Löfgren, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Stål, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garsås IF's Morgan Norberg was substituted for Enrico Cesaroni. Garsås IF made a substitution. Oskar Påk replaced Bror Ståhlman. In the 71st minute, Bror Ståhlman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Ove Stål in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. Alfons Sjö made an important save on a dangerous shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Ola Lund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ola Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Sven-Ove Stål had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Ove Stål was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Charlie Löfgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Charlie Löfgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Sven-Ove Stål managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garsås IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Ove Stål was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 95th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. Garsås IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
