Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when John Forsberg got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Baștină saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute of the match England got a corner. Academia D3c3bal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Micah Macdonald ran over to the corner to take the kick. England's Cooper Thompson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nechifor Baștină in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nechifor Baștină made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 5th minute of play. Xavier Gallagher hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th match minute, Academia D3c3bal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Gheorghiță to maneuver through the defense. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Khalid Kennedy made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when John Forsberg sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyle Cox in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nechifor Baștină saved Academia D3c3bal FC from getting behind. 14 minutes into the game, Codrin Dersidan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Khalid Kennedy. Codrin Dersidan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Nicolae Diaconu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Eddie Willis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. England's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia D3c3bal FC the free kick. After 18 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Willis. Dinu Gheorghiță kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Cox to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Academia D3c3bal FC's Andrei Ungureanu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andrei Ungureanu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Academia D3c3bal FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andrei Ungureanu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Academia D3c3bal FC! The referee gave England a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Micah Macdonald, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Academia D3c3bal FC's Nechifor Baștină. 1-1. After 40 played minutes Academia D3c3bal FC got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Gheorghiță. Codrin Dersidan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Khalid Kennedy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Cox was the one to do the kick off. England were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Academia D3c3bal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Micah Macdonald took the corner. Caelan Hayes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Codrin Dersidan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalid Kennedy having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, England's Micah Macdonald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nechifor Baștină narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Micah Macdonald came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the England fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micah Macdonald couldn't finish the play. Issac Dawson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nechifor Baștină came out and tried to block the shot, but Issac Dawson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 68th minute. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Forsberg in the 74th minute of the match. After some careless play in the England defense, John Forsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khalid Kennedy. The England fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khalid Kennedy should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute Codrin Dersidan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Micah Macdonald received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nechifor Baștină came out and tried to block the shot, but Micah Macdonald slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 80th minute. Nechifor Baștină showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caelan Hayes in the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codrin Dersidan in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khalid Kennedy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. England's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
