Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maciej Bartelak got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zdzislaw Grajewski in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. In the 30th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Lech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotr Lech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Eikelkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Maciej Bartelak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Lars Meesters fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Piotr Lech quite easily take care of the ball. Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Zdzislaw Grajewski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zdzislaw Grajewski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 51 played minutes The Irons Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Maciej Bartelak. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Piotr Lech threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 54th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Lech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotr Lech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Piotr Lech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maciej Bartelak scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Piotr Lech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Piotr Lech came out and tried to block the shot, but Wim Wilmes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 76th minute. After 84 minutes The Irons Chorzów's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Piotr Lech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 85 minutes into the match, The Irons Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Piotr Lech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes, Alfred Kostrzewa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Irons Chorzów and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes The Irons Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Kostrzewa. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Lech having to interfere. The The Irons Chorzów players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
