If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zorion Carić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Slipmaskinerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rami Funes Mori to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Styrbjörn Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Zorion Carić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zorion Carić saved Slipmaskinerna from getting behind. Peanut Lord could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Slipmaskinerna's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Meesters came free, but Zorion Carić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Peanut Lord came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Slipmaskinerna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peanut Lord couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the game, Örjan Örn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slipmaskinerna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. After 44 played minutes Slipmaskinerna got a freekick which was hit by Örjan Örn. Ren Feng Guang hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zorion Carić having to interfere. Slipmaskinerna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gust Rammer in the 56th minute. After 58 played minutes Slipmaskinerna got a freekick which was hit by Ren Feng Guang. After 61 played minutes Slipmaskinerna got a freekick which was hit by Rami Funes Mori. Styrbjörn Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Zorion Carić in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zorion Carić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Gust Rammer hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Slipmaskinerna made a substitution. Mastur Bates replaced Peanut Lord. Gust Rammer hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Slipmaskinerna's Don Frye was substituted for Jordi Alba. Slipmaskinerna's attentive Gust Rammer managed to snatch the ball when Gust Ennemans made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zorion Carić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 91 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gust Ennemans. Netherlands were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Slipmaskinerna to leave the ground with a draw.
