The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezary Arbaszewski in the 3rd minute. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Major Barna had to leave the field with a concussion. Ataol Soysan's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ataol Soysan helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in YENİMUHACIR FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! YENİMUHACIR FK:s İsmail Ataergin showed great skill when he stopped Antal Valentin:s penalty. 36 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of YENİMUHACIR FK's İsmail Ataergin. İsmail Ataergin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute, Balazs Norbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cezary Arbaszewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Arbaszewski in the 53rd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind YENİMUHACIR FK's goalkeeper İsmail Ataergin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. İsmail Ataergin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 72nd minute of play. YENİMUHACIR FK's İsmail Ataergin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save YENİMUHACIR FK from getting a goal against them. İsmail Ataergin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 81st minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Peng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
