After some careless play in the Germany defense, Cornel Panaitescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot.

Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobrin Cormoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cormoranii -MM-'s Valer Uduleanu got a free kick in the 59th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornel Panaitescu couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Sântimbrean in the 95th minute of play. Cormoranii -MM- were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
