Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Toni Mauzer kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Damir Pongrac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guus Daniels in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to Overburen getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Tim Koole hit a great ball. Fabiano Jablonski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damir Pongrac in the 14th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Karel Rodenboog got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Blair Bacon came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ilija Skugor could save by the left post. Isidro Gartzi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guus Daniels in the 28th minute of play. Patrik Terzic charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Terzic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Overburen booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Terzic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Croatia's Ilija Skugor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Croatia from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Overburen's Karel Rodenboog dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 41st minute, Blair Bacon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Domazet hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Blair Bacon made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Guus Daniels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Guus Daniels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Karel Rodenboog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Toni Mauzer hit a great ball. Ilija Skugor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Teo Gudelj got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Hofsteenge, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Overburen's Paul Hofsteenge in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Paul Hofsteenge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karel Rodenboog in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Overburen booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Terzic didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Guus Daniels cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Ilija Skugor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 93 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Blair Bacon came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilija Skugor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karel Rodenboog in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Overburen were the better team. Overburen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
