After a defensive mix-up in 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 鲁谦烨 came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 鲁谦烨 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 鲁谦烨 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's 鲁谦烨 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 16th minute of play. 严文朗 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. After 19 minutes Belgium's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Natanael Sena who took care of the corner kick. The corner led 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's Natanael Sena to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as 严文朗 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Casper Claes. That made the score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 35th minute of play forced 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's goalkeeper 鲁谦烨 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Vanderstraeten to make the kick off. 鲁谦烨 was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Edward Vanderstraeten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The Belgium fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 73 minutes into the match, 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's goal looked a bit too open when Siebe Michiels came free, but 鲁谦烨 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes 【FLY】莱比锡红牛 got a freekick which was hit by 严文朗. 86 minutes into the match, 【FLY】莱比锡红牛's goalkeeper 鲁谦烨 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Patric 刘备 put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Casper Claes. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
