A very good chance for a goal. Damián Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Frank Sachs sped through Oberá's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damián Martínez. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Cresencio's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Cresencio went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Quexal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Schwerner to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 59 minutes, Alberto Cresencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Cresencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Froilan Berriotxoa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Damián Martínez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Germany eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
