Cristopher Damian started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Freddy Mercurio got control of the ball when Cristopher Damian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clemente Savier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristopher Damian kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Elija came free, but Clemente Savier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match, Ubarna Marcos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Freddy Mercurio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Isadoro Lurquín hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Freddy Mercurio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristopher Damian. After having played for 23 minutes, Aristides Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Phelipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freddy Mercurio made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Cristopher Damian sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute Cristopher Damian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Froilan Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubarna Marcos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Freddy Mercurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣. The audience was convinced that Leonel Messi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Savier was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After 34 minutes ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Lupo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Lupo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clemente Savier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Freddy Mercurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Barrera in the 35th minute of the match. Cristopher Damian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Freddy Mercurio made a huge save. Ubarna Marcos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aristides Phelipe kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Gabriel Olivar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Crottos Crotters F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Gartzea to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Elija made a kick off. Freddy Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubarna Marcos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Cristopher Damian managed to get in a good position for a shot. ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cristopher Damian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Mercurio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ defense, Leonel Messi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Savier. The ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Savier should have stopped the shot. Crottos Crotters F.C. made a substitution. Ernesto Farias replaced Leonel Messi. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Amadeo Tino was substituted for Gerardo Gartzea. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Farias got free with Clemente Savier in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Crottos Crotters F.C. were awarded a corner. Jorge Lupo went to the cornerflag to take it. Crottos Crotters F.C.'s Fabian Jansson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Clemente Savier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 76th minute, one of ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣. The supporters of ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ booed when Crottos Crotters F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Jansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Savier made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Benigno Elija sent off a good shot on target. After 88 minutes, Edilberto Bustillos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ and the Crottos Crotters F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edilberto Bustillos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Olivar came free, but Freddy Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Jungejohan in the 95th minute of play forced Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goalkeeper Freddy Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Crottos Crotters F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ferenc Angyal came free, but Freddy Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Farias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Clemente Savier made a huge save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
