The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Skrzypiec in the 13th minute of play. If Klement Skrzypiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. Slovakia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Klement Skrzypiec scored to the left of an out of position Henrich Slany, making the score, 1-1. Kajetan Dembowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metod Mlynar in the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Slovakia's Kornel Jahoda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kajetan Dembowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Dembowski having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Patryk Kosmatka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klement Skrzypiec to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Otrocz booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vavrinec Koleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kajetan Dembowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Holub in the 58th minute. Korneliusz Czech hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Otrocz booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zigmund Maliar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Kosmatka in the 67th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Otrocz's Patryk Kosmatka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrich Slany narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vavrinec Koleno kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Metod Mlynar fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Metod Mlynar a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Metod Mlynar. When Oliver Holub came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Holub couldn't finish the play. Kajetan Dembowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Metod Mlynar in the 95th minute. The Slovakia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Otrocz from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
