Nilmar Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Sedzikowski having to interfere. ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Robert Sobczak suffered a concussion after 16 minutes and had to leave the field. Cesinha Diniz's late challenge caught a ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesinha Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilmar Furlan in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacek Sedzikowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Cesinha Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Sedzikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacek Sedzikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Furlan in the 27th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Cyprian Adamus put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in ↖ Sagittarius ↗ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! In the 33rd minute, Juliusz Skonieczny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bayern Lessa - u21 booed when ↖ Sagittarius ↗ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Dombrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Nilmar Furlan put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jacek Sedzikowski. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilmar Furlan in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacek Sedzikowski saved ↖ Sagittarius ↗ from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilmar Furlan to make the kick off. Cesinha Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jacek Sedzikowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartosz Dombrowski hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Nilmar Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Jacek Sedzikowski made a huge save. When Bayern Lessa - u21's Cesinha Breckenfeld in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s goalie prevented a goal. Tiago Gabriel Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafa Tavares came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Arkadiusz Domalik. But to his dismay, Arkadiusz Domalik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Bayern Lessa - u21's Nilmar Furlan in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cesinha Breckenfeld hit a great ball. ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Jacek Sedzikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Furlan in the 84th minute of play. Jacek Sedzikowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Bielatowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Bielatowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Bayern Lessa - u21 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bayern Lessa - u21 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
