Filiph Lööf hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Cordero Casuso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Egon Pihlwall, 1-1. After recieving a nice pass, SJÖARED's Allan Fastesson tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cordero Casuso to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Víctor-Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johans Ortubia made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Allan Fastesson sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Monitor Huáscar's zone, Jon Rudqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johans Ortubia came out of the goal and Jon Rudqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Ovidio Varez replaced Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal. After 68 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal. SJÖARED's Egon Pihlwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cruz Iglesias in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Cruz Iglesias made a precise shot to the right of Egon Pihlwall. SJÖARED's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. SJÖARED were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Monitor Huáscar to leave the ground with a draw.
