Helmuth Bremgartner made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Valentin Frumuzache sent off a good shot on target. In the 12thth minute of the game Damian Lazăr who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Dragons's Helmuth Bremgartner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valentin Frumuzache who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Helmuth Bremgartner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Black Dragons's Helmuth Bremgartner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Black Dragons from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Black Dragons's zone, Dan Caranică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helmuth Bremgartner came out of the goal and Dan Caranică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Helmuth Bremgartner managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when CSM ALEXANDRIA's Valentin Frumuzache fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valer Ielciu made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Black Dragons's Thomas Fieschi. After 24 played minutes Black Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Ziswiler. In the 27th match minute, Black Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flemming Garzoli to maneuver through the defense. When CSM ALEXANDRIA's Dan Caranică in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Dragons's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of CSM ALEXANDRIA booed when Black Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Battista Blau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helmuth Bremgartner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Frumuzache in the 34th minute of the match. Helmuth Bremgartner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Frumuzache in the 38th minute. When Dan Caranică came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the CSM ALEXANDRIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Caranică couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Black Dragons's zone, Dan Caranică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helmuth Bremgartner came out of the goal and Dan Caranică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruben Ziswiler made a kick off. After a rather tough play, CSM ALEXANDRIA's Dan Caranică got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Valentin Frumuzache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the game, CSM ALEXANDRIA's Valer Ielciu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Helmuth Bremgartner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Flemming Garzoli's late challenge caught a CSM ALEXANDRIA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flemming Garzoli helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Black Dragons's Flemming Garzoli got a free kick in the 68th minute. CSM ALEXANDRIA's Damian Lazăr got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, CSM ALEXANDRIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Ielciu to maneuver through the defense. When Damian Lazăr got free in front of the goal in the 76th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Helmuth Bremgartner was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Valentin Frumuzache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Caranică fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Bremgartner having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Frumuzache in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Helmuth Bremgartner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Dragons's goalkeeper Helmuth Bremgartner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomas Fieschi charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Fieschi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Black Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Fieschi to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Valentin Frumuzache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSM ALEXANDRIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
