Jon Rudqvist started the match with the kick off. Olle Haegg kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Jon Rudqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gunnar Engström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute, Ströms Diamonds's Olle Haegg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Olle Haegg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ströms Diamonds protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Olle Haegg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Ströms Diamonds getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Olle Haegg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ströms Diamonds's Karl-Michael Hurtig got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Vykan Stolpe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunnar Engström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Vincent Dahlman hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. SJÖARED's Egon Pihlwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Klementsson in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Allan Fastesson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Engström. Ströms Diamonds's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Allan Fastesson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Rudqvist in the 31st minute of play forced Ströms Diamonds's goalkeeper Gunnar Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, SJÖARED's Filiph Lööf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gunnar Engström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. A collision led to Ströms Diamonds getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Vincent Dahlman hit a great ball. Viktor Klementsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Egon Pihlwall came out and tried to block the shot, but Viktor Klementsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 43rd minute. After the first half SJÖARED were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Viktor Klementsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Allan Fastesson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SJÖARED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Allan Fastesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Gunnar Engström made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ströms Diamonds's Karl-Michael Hurtig got a free kick in the 55th minute. A collision led to SJÖARED getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Vykan Stolpe hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Vykan Stolpe made a precise shot to the right of Gunnar Engström. Ströms Diamonds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. In the 67th minute Viktor Klementsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Pihlwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ströms Diamonds's Kent Qvalfeldt got a free kick in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Ströms Diamonds's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Rudqvist came free, but Gunnar Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Siggman hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Viktor Klementsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ströms Diamonds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Ströms Diamonds's Gunnar Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vykan Stolpe in the 80th minute of play. Egon Pihlwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Klementsson in the 85th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Ströms Diamonds's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Lööf came free, but Gunnar Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
