Petros Rafailidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Cebada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Themos Batiropoulos. GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's Cordero Casuso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Themos Batiropoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Cordero Casuso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GREEK ARMY's Themos Batiropoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Themos Batiropoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordero Casuso's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Cordero Casusos short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Themos Batiropoulos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20th minute, Cordero Casuso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monitor Huáscar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Cordero Casuso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Monitor Huáscar's Cordero Casuso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Themos Batiropoulos. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. Themos Batiropoulos made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Orland Castañedo sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordero Casuso in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Themos Batiropoulos saved GREEK ARMY from getting behind. Oxel Viñales might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Themos Batiropoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oxel Viñales ran back to his position shaking his head. Cordero Casuso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordero Casuso in the 48th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Themos Batiropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manos Konstantakos was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Cordero Casuso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themos Batiropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orland Castañedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Orland Castañedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Themos Batiropoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 63rdth minute of the game Cordero Casuso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GREEK ARMY's Themos Batiropoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Themos Batiropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordero Casuso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Abastas. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Bide Artigue replaced Oxel Viñales. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Txanton Sedeño replaced Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal. Angelo Abastas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A collision led to GREEK ARMY getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Spyros Tsatsaronakis hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Bide Artigue came free, but Themos Batiropoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petros Rafailidis's late challenge caught a Monitor Huáscar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petros Rafailidis helped the player get up and apologised. 76 minutes into the game, Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monitor Huáscar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GREEK ARMY the free kick. Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Gamonal kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play GREEK ARMY's Petros Rafailidis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 78th match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petros Rafailidis to maneuver through the defense. Themos Batiropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Rolan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 83 minutes, Bide Artigue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monitor Huáscar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bide Artigue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Monitor Huáscar's Bide Artigue in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GREEK ARMY's goalie prevented a goal. Themos Batiropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Rolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Themos Batiropoulos came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Monitor Huáscar's Bide Artigue. But to his dismay, Bide Artigue quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Themos Batiropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bide Artigue in the 96th minute of play. Monitor Huáscar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of GREEK ARMY for a fine match.
