Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacek Gollob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Michael Hurtig couldn't finish the play. Gunnar Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Pacholewski in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Ströms Diamonds was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Klementsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Karl-Michael Hurtig made a precise shot to the right of Adam Brack. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jacek Gollob could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gunnar Engström made a huge save. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Adam Brack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Qvalfeldt in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Klementsson came free, but Adam Brack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Przemyslaw Rzegotka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gunnar Engström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 34 minutes into the match, Viktor Klementsson notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Adam Brack. Adam Brack was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Ströms Diamonds's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Przemyslaw Rzegotka fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Jacek Gollob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

In the 53rd minute, Viktor Klementsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adam Brack. The goal made the score 2-3. 56 minutes into the game, Zygmunt Puchlik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ströms Diamonds the free kick. A collision led to Cuiavia Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Zygmunt Puchlik hit a great ball. Adam Brack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Åkerman in the 96th minute of the match.
