The Manchester United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edwin van der Sar should have stopped the shot. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edwin van der Sar came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. But to his dismay, Daniel Pimentel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-4. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Manchester United FC.
