Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Implant de Ego ™'s Florin Feroiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Pietreanu came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Feroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Feroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florin Feroiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florin Feroiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Plopșor in the 42nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Costin Pietreanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Pietreanu in the 51st minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Pietreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vintilă Acalinei fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Implant de Ego ™'s protests and gave Vintilă Acalinei a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Implant de Ego ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Acalinei didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Gustaaf Groeneveldt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Florin Feroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Stelian Tunar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Implant de Ego ™ and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Implant de Ego ™ got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Tunar. In the 61st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florin Feroiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 63rd minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Florin Feroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ilie Bojonca fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Implant de Ego ™'s protests and gave Ilie Bojonca a yellow card for diving instead. Ilie Bojonca kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Feroiu having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florin Feroiu. Implant de Ego ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 91 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. After 92 played minutes Implant de Ego ™ got a freekick which was hit by Costin Pietreanu. Netherlands played a much better game than Implant de Ego ™ and deserved their victory. The Implant de Ego ™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
