Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Three Towers United the free kick. In the 17th match minute, Three Towers United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilles Ryers to maneuver through the defense. Kenny Sielis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Austria's Fabio Auer got control of the ball when Jaques Wenderix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Marvin Harrer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenny Sielis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
