The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sidnei Souto hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Damir Pongrac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Croatia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damir Pongrac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neven Culina's late challenge caught a S.E YAGOSHOW's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neven Culina helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Neven Culina. Simão de Senna hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Chiquinho Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E YAGOSHOW's supporters rose to their feet, but Chiquinho Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduard Kostelac hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Cipriano Arósio from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Ilija Skugor's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Mauzer in the 19th minute of play forced S.E YAGOSHOW's goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes, Benjamin Domazet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Croatia and the S.E YAGOSHOW players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benjamin Domazet kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 23 played minutes S.E YAGOSHOW got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Souto. The supporters of S.E YAGOSHOW booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Terzic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilija Skugor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão de Senna in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Toni Mauzer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of S.E YAGOSHOW's Tiago Gabriel da Cunha. Tiago Gabriel da Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Croatia's goalkeeper Ilija Skugor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simão de Senna. Croatia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Chiquinho Mesquita scored to the left of an out of position Ilija Skugor, making the score, 1-1. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, Simão de Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot.

The S.E YAGOSHOW fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when S.E YAGOSHOW's Simão de Senna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Simão de Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ilija Skugor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Silvije Santek kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Válbson Godoi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ilija Skugor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Neven Culina hit a great ball. Toni Mauzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel da Cunha having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in S.E YAGOSHOW fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, Croatia's Toni Mauzer got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tiago Gabriel da Cunha. The supporters of S.E YAGOSHOW booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Terzic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomás de Queirós hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. S.E YAGOSHOW were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Croatia for a fine match.
