The audience was convinced that Major Barna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardino Mark was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Takacs Tibor got in the 52nd minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Bernardino Mark. This was a shot which ended in a score of 0-2. Hilario Luix kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Bertoni's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Bertoni helped the player get up and apologised. Ricardo Bertoni hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Bertoni came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bakos Endre to maneuver through the defense. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
