An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 9th minute of play forced Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Quinto Fonticoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Pedroso in the 11th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Quinto Fonticoba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quinto Fonticoba. Quinto Fonticoba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Quinto Fonticoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quinto Fonticoba. Grêmio Prudente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lucrețiu Grigore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hungary's Major Barna in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grêmio Prudente's goalie prevented a goal. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Edson Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Gaztea in the 40th minute. Fodor Daniel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eleuterio Gaztea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 40 minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Edson Ribeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fodor Daniel. The goal made the score 2-2.

Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Quinto Fonticoba made a huge save. Fodor Daniel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Grêmio Prudente's Edson Ribeiro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Grêmio Prudente booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Major Barna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Grêmio Prudente to leave the ground with a draw.
