An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 10th minute of play forced Jonathan Livingston ⚜️'s goalkeeper Cafer Demirsah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Maju in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 32nd minute of play forced Jonathan Livingston ⚜️'s goalkeeper Cafer Demirsah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. Prudencio Maju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Jonathan Livingston ⚜️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Blănaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddy Worrall got free with Arnout Reekers in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute of the match Jonathan Livingston ⚜️ got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zbyszek Polakowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Netherlands's goalie and right to Eddy Worrall. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Netherlands's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Cafer Demirsah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 47th minute of play forced Jonathan Livingston ⚜️'s goalkeeper Cafer Demirsah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prudencio Maju made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Jonathan Livingston ⚜️'s Bilgin Sökmen got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Bilgin Sökmen fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jonathan Livingston ⚜️'s protests and gave Bilgin Sökmen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Jonathan Livingston ⚜️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilgin Sökmen to maneuver through the defense. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
