The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 宋辉星 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 16th minute of play. Adriano Contratas struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leeds United. The supporters of Leeds United booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takacs Tibor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Contratas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Hungary were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Leeds United to leave the ground with a draw.
