After some careless play in the Gülce Leyla defense, Albin Holweck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal. The Gülce Leyla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal should have stopped the shot. The Gülce Leyla players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Germany were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Zembrzuski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Albin Holweck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal. Gülce Leyla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sadri Yılma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germany succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Gülce Leyla had controlled the match.
