After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Kanake Papadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Le Cabaret's supporters rose to their feet, but Kanake Papadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Le Cabaret's Kroios Stagias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Le Cabaret's Aigyptos Papoutsis got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Vít Biskup was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slovakia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Le Cabaret the free kick. Vít Biskup kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Likourgos Manetas came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metod Mlynar charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Metod Mlynar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Le Cabaret's goal looked a bit too open when Metod Mlynar came free, but Polybos Phocas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Kanake Papadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Polybos Phocas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 35th minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Polybos Phocas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telis Fitrakis kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 38th minute when Timos Softhis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Kanake Papadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Timos Softhis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Metod Mlynar to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Kanake Papadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Metod Mlynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Holub in the 61st minute of play forced Le Cabaret's goalkeeper Polybos Phocas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kornel Jahoda kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Kanake Antonopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Le Cabaret's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slovakia the free kick. After 67 played minutes Le Cabaret got a freekick which was hit by Kanake Antonopoulos. Kanake Papadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrich Slany having to interfere. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timos Softhis in the 75th minute of the match. Akheron Manoukarakis made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kroios Stagias however managed to control. Metod Mlynar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polybos Phocas having to interfere. Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stefan Havel kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Zigmund Maliar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Le Cabaret had played much better football throughout.
