After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Linus Schwerner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André Luiz Rosa quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Jácint Víg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Bódi got free with Tommy Kahn in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roland Bódi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. In the 28th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Batéi Félreértés LC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 31 minutes, Linus Schwerner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Batéi Félreértés LC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Linus Schwerner. 34 minutes into the game, Roland Bódi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Roland Bódi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Bódi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Pál Hudák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Pál Hudák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th play minute Jácint Víg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Kahn. 2-0.

Batéi Félreértés LC's Roland Bódi got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes in the game Pál Hudák did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jácint Víg. In the 57th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Frank Sachs fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
