Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Felice Cirigliano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 40th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Tammaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cristoforo Tammaro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Vanderstraeten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 83 minute of play. In the 88th minute Fedele Panza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lunatics of Arianrhod's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Martini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felice Cirigliano hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
