Alexander Sum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ang Chew in the 21st minute. In the 21st minute, NFH Family United's Ang Chew ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. Mark Chian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Wong Sophie got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mark Chian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 54th minute of play forced NFH Family United's goalkeeper Alexander Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Chian came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Chian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Chian in the 68th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Mark Chian put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. After having played for 83 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Germany booed when NFH Family United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wong Sophie didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jithu Rajah in the 91st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sven Krakouer fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Sven Krakouer a yellow card for diving instead. Sven Krakouer hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Chian came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
