Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Guido Vissenaeken made the kick off which started today's match. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vítor Baia. Vítor Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 14 minutes of play, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Vissenaeken came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Italy booed when Brugge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaspar Van Den Broeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Karan came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Deodato Magliozzi in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Brugge United's Jaspar Van Den Broeck. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 35th minute of play. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Guido Vissenaeken sped through Italy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Brugge United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. The corner led Italy's Siricio Liotta to a score. 4-2 in the 43rd minute. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Roşculeţ in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaspar Van Den Broeck kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Brugge United's Vítor Baia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Brugge United from getting a goal against them. Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts was substituted for Jaspar Van Den Broeck. The throw-in from Deodato Magliozzi in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Arnauld Van Impe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brugge United's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnauld Van Impe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Vittori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the game, Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Vittori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Vítor Baia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Brugge United's Vítor Baia got control of the ball when Adriano Curto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Vítor Baia in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Italy's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Brugge United had won, even though Italy had held more of the ball.
