Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Wilson Amorim successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Owsiak showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Norbert Grondzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Grondzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Portugal got a corner. FusbalClub Swietochlowice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Barreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 26th minute, Viriato Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norbert Grondzki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Norbert Grondzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FusbalClub Swietochlowice defense, Felipe Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norbert Grondzki. The FusbalClub Swietochlowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norbert Grondzki should have stopped the shot. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Daniel Owsiak in the 41 minute of the game. Graciano Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Grondzki having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Felipe Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Daniel Owsiak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FusbalClub Swietochlowice players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Portugal were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Gai to make the kick off. If Gilberto Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute FusbalClub Swietochlowice were awarded a corner. Daniel Owsiak went to the cornerflag to take it. After 66 minutes, Teofil Pilipiec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FusbalClub Swietochlowice and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FusbalClub Swietochlowice's Teofil Pilipiec got a free kick in the 66th minute. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. FusbalClub Swietochlowice's Cyprian Cholewa was substituted for Daniel Owsiak. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Cholewa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jan Bednarek, made in the 71st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Igor Glozor put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Amorim. The throw-in from Igor Glozor in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Bruno Bastos. Norbert Grondzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Glozor in the 79th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Cholewa in the 80th minute of the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Cholewa in the 80th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyprian Cholewa in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 minutes, Cyprian Cholewa made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Portugal's Wilson Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cyprian Cholewa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofil Pilipiec kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Cyprian Cholewa notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolomeu Dias got free with Norbert Grondzki in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norbert Grondzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 92nd minute of the match. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by FusbalClub Swietochlowice's Igor Glozor. But to his dismay, Igor Glozor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. FusbalClub Swietochlowice's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
