Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zaccheo Andolina took the kick off in the first half of the match. The throw-in from Giannis Papoutsakis in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. After a defensive mix-up in Italy's zone, Laurence Snow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal and Laurence Snow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Flavio Vittori threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Telis Ntasios, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Sá breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Alexandris came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexis Alexandris. After 21 played minutes tHe SOnS of rAGnar got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Kornaros. José Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 23rd minute of the match. Italy:s Flavio Vittori showed great skill when he stopped Alexis Alexandris:s penalty. After 28 minutes, Walter Giardino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the tHe SOnS of rAGnar and the Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Walter Giardino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexis Alexandris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Porziano Marchitelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 45th minute of play forced tHe SOnS of rAGnar's goalkeeper José Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walter Giardino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telis Ntasios in the 51st minute of play. Sigfrido Auletta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Siricio Liotta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Sá was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Porziano Marchitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. José Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Charis Leontiou was substituted for Giannis Papoutsakis. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Alexandris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy's attentive Eliseo Cutri managed to snatch the ball when Fiz Biembengén made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. Fiz Biembengén struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for tHe SOnS of rAGnar. Porziano Marchitelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Sá. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Porziano Marchitelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. In the 87th minute Alexis Alexandris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Fiz Biembengén in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. Italy were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
