When Boros Benedek fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Boros Benedek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 52nd minute, but Francesco Toldo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Porto Sul Football hanging dry this time. With his leg Francesco Toldo managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Hungary's Antal Valentin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Porto Sul Football's Ademir Loyola got a free kick in the 64th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, César de Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porto Sul Football's supporters crossed their fingers, but César de Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Calisto Flayre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Samuel Netto heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 80th minute, Calisto Flayre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francesco Toldo having to interfere. Hungary were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
