The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krzysztof Kaleta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Tõnuri got free with Wilson Amorim in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute of the match ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Brătescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. 刘彬杰 hit a great ball. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Jan Tõnuri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute, Krzysztof Kaleta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 22nd minute Narciso Vallejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Caetano Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Matthew Benjamin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Caetano Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC's Matthew Benjamin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 32nd minute of play. ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC were furious when Rauno Lang was red carded, 37 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Matthew Benjamin went to the wrong direction when Felipe Barreto was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Matthew Benjamin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, 庄文榕 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 庄文榕 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 played minutes ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC got a freekick which was hit by David Brătescu. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Viriato Moura made the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Miranda made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Caetano Moreira however managed to control. 55 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto threw the ball into play from the sideline. ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC's Kees Enzing quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 57th minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Benjamin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC's Krzysztof Kaleta got a free kick in the 57th minute. Matthew Benjamin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 58th minute of the match. ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC's 董战伟 was substituted for Jan Tõnuri. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC's Comunardo Puglielli was substituted for 杨攀 Haab. The supporters of Portugal booed when ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. 庄文榕 didn't get a good kick on the ball. ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC's Matthew Benjamin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC from getting a goal against them. 董战伟's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The throw-in from Fabricio Andrade in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ◇Mz.Dream◆Blue Snail FC's 刘彬杰. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, 刘鹰凡 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and 刘鹰凡 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 董战伟 took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
